Artist's Description
The stand of coast alder trees reflects onto the river surface from their line along the shore. The rippling current causes the reflections to shimmer and zag as the water flows by. I had the privilege of making a painting from a photo by Jerry Rust of his life on the Siuslaw River in Oregon. Painted in oil by permission by Tara D. Kemp.

About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age.
