This scene from rural life in Oregon shows a flock of old hens scratching in the dirt in the shade of an unseen tree. Behind them is an old teal colored VW Beetle, and behind that is a row of old trailer homes tucked under the distant tees. Painted from a photo taken by T.R. Kelley by permission.

About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age. She studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had an early career as a designer and maker of art jewelry. For the past 20 years, she has been working as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator. Tara Kemp is a creature of the Northwest.
