This classic red barn is the home of Saginaw Vineyards, near Eugene, Oregon, a favorite place for our plein air group to paint. I tried to capture the feeling of the warm summer day (can you smell the hay?), and the rusted metal roof.

About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age. She studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had an early career as a designer and maker of art jewelry. For the past 20 years, she has been working as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator. Tara Kemp is a creature of the Northwest.
