After arranging flowers for a friends event in July, I came home with a small bunch of zinnias. They were so simple, and so sweet. This one in particular struck me with it's vibrant color. I had to try all of the magentas and purples in my box of paints to get the color just right. It was almost impossible to duplicate what nature has so exquisitely produced!

About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age. She studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had an early career as a designer and maker of art jewelry. For the past 20 years, she has been working as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator. Tara Kemp is a creature of the Northwest.
