"First Camellia" is a lovely illustration of the first camellia that bloomed unexpectedly early in my garden on a cold November day. This was also the first in my series of "Botanical Beauties".

About Tara D Kemp
About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age. She studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had an early career as a designer and maker of art jewelry. For the past 20 years, she has been working as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator. Tara Kemp is a creature of the Northwest. Through her paintings she reflects on her extraordinary life in Oregon, the people and places she encounters. She is a values painter.
