This old truck is a permanent fixture in Oakland, Oregon, parked in an empty lot downtown in front of the old Bull Durham sign. They plant flowers in and around it. I'd had my eye on it for a couple of years. I finally got to set up my easel and make this plein air oil painting of it on a hot September day.
