Blissful Coconuts is an image of coconuts growing in a palm tree. This is one in a series of four paintings that were commissioned by the Coconut Bliss company. The originals hang in their corporate offices in Eugene, Oregon. They represent some of the main ingredients used in their coconut milk based ice cream: coconut milk, agave, chocolate, and vanilla. Each of the original paintings has a tiny bit of it's represented ingredient mixed into the paint.
These four blissful beauties look great as a set of prints hung together, or a group of pillows creating a mood in your living room, or on tote bags given as gifts.
About the Artist, Tara lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA, where she is surrounded and inspired by an abundance of natural beauty. Her interest in art began at a young age. She studied Fine Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had an early career as a designer and maker of art jewelry. For the past 20 years, she has been working as a graphic designer, painter, and illustrator. Tara Kemp is a creature of the Northwest. Through her paintings she reflects on her extraordinary life in Oregon, the people and places she encounters. She is a values painter.
